Boutique London estate agency Aston Chase has struck a deal with luxury short-term accommodation firm Veeve, to help its clients tap into the lucrative holiday lettings market.

The tie-up will see Regent’s Park-based Aston Chase market a number of its super-prime instructions via the Veeve platform, which caters for around 15,000 HNW overseas visitors each summer.

Veeve, which has bases in London, LA and Paris, serves up a range of “hotel-style” services, including meet and greet, professional housekeeping, concierge, private airport transfers, fridge stocking, linen, towels and toiletries.

Property management, guest vetting and photoshoots are also offered as part of the package, and around 1,000 properties are currently on the books in the capital. Listings are also pushed out to other major platforms, including HomeAway.

The two firms will be focusing on offering super-luxe properties to overseas HNWI and their families, with a focus on Asia (particularly China, Hong Kong, Singapore), and the Middle East (including Saudi Arabia, Qatar Kuwait and UAE).

Privacy, luxury and security are the big three criteria for short-term rental customers, says Aston Chase, along with easy access into the West End; top short-term deals to date have included a Regent’s Park penthouse (£10k pw), and ultra-prime mansions on St John’s Wood’s Hamilton Terrace (£40k pw) and Avenue Road (£50k pw).

Apartments tend to be more popular than houses amongst Middle Eastern clients, adds the firm, largely due to the convenience of 24-hour concierge facilities, allowing units in top-end schemes to achieve well over £35k pw during the summer months.

  • Ben Sloane, Director of Lettings at Aston Chase: “The summer period consistently spikes the short-term rental market with prime properties in London being occupied by international clientele. By partnering with Veeve we are able to offer our home-owning clients access to a larger platform of international applicants, and in turn we are able to provide Veeve customers with more private, safe and luxurious properties with hotel-style amenities and conveniences.”
  • Jonny Morris, CEO at Veeve: "Veeve already provides a carefully curated selection of over 1,000 characterful primary residence homes in London, all managed by a team of multi-lingual, on-the-ground staff who provide a 5 star turn-key home stay experience. This partnership means Aston Chase’s homeowners can get access to this lucrative short let industry without any effort. As well as hosting Aston Chase’s properties on the Veeve site, Veeve also lists on many other holiday sites including HomeAway, and many luxury overseas travel agencies, which further maximises rental opportunity."
