VEEVE PARTNERS WITH LUXURY ESTATE AGENTS ASTON CHASE

Veeve partners with luxury estate agents Aston Chase

Veeve partners

According to Aston Chase, short term Prime Central London (PCL) rentals are achieving up to £15,000 per week in the peak August months, according to luxury estate agents Aston Chase, which is one reason that fuelled the alliance between the two companies.

The summer season is a particularly lucrative period for short-term and vacation rentals, with Aston Chase and Veeve focusing on marketing luxury properties to overseas high-net worth individuals and families. The majority of people come over from the United States, Canada, Asia (China, Hong Kong, and Singapore) and the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates).

Aston Chase says that its Asian and Middle Eastern customers are looking for properties in St John’s Wood, Regent’s Park and Marylebone, valuing privacy, luxury and security, as well as close proximity to the world-class shopping options and Michelin Star restaurants in the West End of London.

In partnership with Veeve, which is based in London, Los Angeles and Paris, Aston Chase is able to facilitate the needs of short-term rental clients, with Veeve providing hotel-style services including a meet and greet service, professional housekeeping, a concierge, home comforts including private airport transfers and fridge stocking and linen, towels and toiletries.

Moreover, for Aston Chase homeowners seeking to earn money while their home is awaiting sale, Veeve can take care of this from end to end, including vetting all guests and offering homeowners and vendors a free photoshoot of their property with no sign-up fee.

Aston Chase director of lettings, Ben Sloane, said: “The summer period consistently spikes the short-term rental market with prime properties in London being occupied by International clientele.

“By partnering with Veeve we are able to offer our home-owning clients access to a larger platform of international applicants, and in turn we are able to provide Veeve customers with more private, safe and luxurious properties with hotel-style amenities and conveniences,” he added.

Veeve CEO Jonny Morris said: “Veeve already provides a carefully curated selection of over 1000 characterful primary residence homes in London, all managed by a team of multilingual, on-the-ground staff who provide a five-star turn-key home stay experience. This partnership means Aston Chase’s homeowners can get access to this lucrative short-let industry without any effort.

“As well as hosting Aston Chase’s properties on the Veeve site, Veeve also lists on many other holiday sites including HomeAway, and many luxury overseas travel agencies, which further maximises rental opportunity,” he added.

The 1,988-square-foot ground-floor apartment is located in a converted home in the London neighborhood of St. John’s Place.

Listing of the Day
Location: St. John’s Wood, London
Price: £3.25 million (US$3.9 million)

Located on the ground floor of a house in the scenic neighborhood of St. John’s Wood in central London, this contemporary apartment offers a completely remodeled interior with a picturesque garden view.
“You are going to get the feel [and character] of a house, rather than the more standard, conventional flat,” said listing agent Simon Rosenblatt of Aston Chase.
Although the residence is located on the ground floor of a converted home, it maintains privacy with its own entrance. A sizeable patio located in the back adds to the more secluded feel.
While the building maintains its charming classic exterior, Mr. Rosenblatt said the garden-level residence “has been completely remodeled by the current owners.”
The interior is contemporary with a palette of neutral whites and greys throughout that are brightened by nuanced herringbone wood-plank flooring and modern recessed lighting throughout.
The kitchen, in particular, was overhauled by the current owners. While it was once “tiny,” Mr. Rosenblatt said the renovation transformed it into a “beautiful” open space, with a white marble backsplash, and Miele and Siemens appliances.
The layout was also configured by the current homeowners to allow for either an expanded living space or a third bedroom at the front of the apartment. In the back of the home, meanwhile, Mr. Rosenblatt noted that the “huge” communal garden offers homeowners a serene space and provides that “wow factor.”
“Ideally,” Mr. Rosenblatt concluded, the garden-level home “is targeted for downsizers who want a lateral apartment with versatile accommodation.”
Stats
The 1,988-square-foot ground-floor apartment includes three bedrooms, three full-size bathrooms and one half-bathroom. Mr. Rosenblatt noted one of the bedrooms is flexible and can be used as expanded living space.
Talking Point
The residence was once owned by noted English conductor and composer Eugene Goossens, who occupied the home as he rescored Handel’s Messiah in 1960. During his global career, Goossens conducted orchestras in locations as varied as London, New York, Cincinnati and Sydney. In 1921, he conducted the first concert performance in London of Igor Stravinsky’s “Rite of Spring.” Goossens was knighted in 1955.
Neighborhood Notes
The residence is located in the central London neighborhood of St. John’s Wood. Located near a wide range of shopping and dining options, the home is only a short walk from the canal-strewn neighborhood of Little Venice and the St. John’s Wood high street.
Mr. Rosenblatt noted the residence is a 10-minute walk from St. Johns Place Tube station.

KAT VAMBE & ZACH MADISON (MADIVAM)

EMBARK ON AN INTERNATIONAL CYCLING CHALLENGE IN BURMA TO RAISE NECESSARY FUNDS FOR NORWOOD!

Friends & Family

In November, we will be cycling over 400km alongside tandem riders through rural idylls, undulating landscapes, gruelling hills and mixed terrain from Mandalay and Bagan to Yangon in order to raise necessary funds and awareness for NORWOOD.

Bios:

Kat Vambe of Aston Chase:-

Kat, the fitter, healthier of the pair (obviously), cycled her first international ride for Norwood last year in Death Valley…now…Zach has challenged her to compete against him and how could she decline? Kat also cycles daily for her commute to/from work…will Swains Lane ever get easier?!

Zach Madison of Savills:-

Zach has recently completed his first London marathon with an exceptional time of 4h9m for the Westbourne Park Family Centre…(Kat isn’t scared)…he also cycles regularly on his single gear bike!

Both Kat & Zach work for rival local Estate Agents in St John’s Wood/Regent’s Park but have put their rivalry aside in order to raise as much money as possible for Norwood!

Norwood supports vulnerable children and their families, children with special needs and people with learning disabilities. Norwood provides vital services for 7,000 people across London and the South East — at home, at school and throughout their lives.

  • Through Norwood’s social work and counselling services Norwood helps families struggling with issues such as addiction, bereavement, abuse and separation.
  • Norwood works with over 300 schools across the UK, enabling them to ensure that children with special education needs and disabilities are given assistance in the classroom.
  • Norwood provides residential and supported living accommodation to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Norwood helps people to find work, learn new skills and lead independent lives.

Your generosity and support will go a long way to help those who benefit from Norwood every day.
